The display of the DC2DC is designed to go into standby mode when it is not receiving charge in order to reduce power usage. When the unit receives power from either the vehicle start battery or solar inputs it will turn on.
If you need to use the display of the DC2DC while it is connected to an output battery but not receiving power from an input, you can take the following steps:
1. Press and hold the MENU button for 5 seconds.
2. If the display doesn't turn on, then there is no power coming from the auxiliary/house battery. Confirm that the connections between the DC2DC and auxiliary/house battery are correct and tight, check fuses and circuit breakers, and confirm that the battery is not too flat to power the DC2DC. The auxiliary battery needs to be above 10.5V for the DC2DC to operate.
3. If you have an Enerdrive B-TEC/eLITE battery that has switched off, you will need to perform a flat battery reset. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
4. If you have an Enerdrive Pro Series battery with low voltage, please contact Enerdrive support.
5. If you have a battery of any other chemistry type that has gone flat or dropped too low in voltage, please follow our guide on charging flat batteries. It can be found here.
6. If sufficient voltage is present at the battery and at the DC2DC battery output terminals but the display remains off, please take clear pictures of the installation and unit serial number and email them to support@enerdrive.com.au
