Before continuing: Please note, the below article has been written for our 12V 20A, 40A and 60A AC Chargers, as well as our 24V 30A AC Charger. If you are looking for instructions on how to program an Enerdrive 12V 100A AC Charger, please click here.
The following guide applies to Enerdrive B-TEC, eLITE, and Pro Series lithium batteries. If you are charging a non-Enerdrive lithium battery, check the charging specifications for the battery and adjust the values accordingly.
STEP 1: Connect to the charger to a 230v power source and wait for the display to turn on
STEP 2: Press and hold the "MENU" button until the battery chemistry type word (Gel, AGM, Lithium etc) on the top of the display starts flashing. Once flashing, let go of the MENU button.
STEP 3: Use the "SEL" button to select chemistry types until the word Lithium flashes
STEP 4: Press the "SET" button to set it to Lithium.
STEP 5: Use the "SEL" button to select the bulk charging voltage to 14.4V
STEP 6: Press the "SET" button to set it to confirm the bulk charge voltage
STEP 7: Use the "SEL" button to select the bulk charge current value ("h" value). You can use the highest value your charger will allow for most Enerdrive lithium batteries, but you should check your battery's specifications to confirm maximum charge current.
STEP 8: Press the "SET" button to set the bulk charge current.
STEP 9: Use the "SEL" button to select the termination current value ("L" value). This number should be higher than the combined constant loads on your battery. If you are unsure what value to use, then select the highest value available.
STEP 10: Press the "SET" button to set the termination current
STEP 11: Press the "MENU" button once and let go. Your ePOWER AC Charger is now programmed.
The ePOWER AC Chargers can only be programmed with a lithium profile on Bank 1 (except for EN312100, which can charge lithium batteries from any bank). You will not need the included temperature sensor if you are charging a Lithium battery. A visual guide to programming your charge can be found below.
