What is the Battery Restart Switch on my ENERDRIVE | DOMETIC Power System for?

Many of the ENERDRIVE | DOMETIC eSYSTEM DIY Installation Kits and Canopy Power Systems come with a Battery Restart Switch wired onto the board. This switch is designed to restart a lithium battery that has shutdown due to a low voltage warning. Pressing and holding this switch will temporarily connect the vehicle start battery and lithium auxiliary battery. This temporary connection will "wake up" the lithium battery's BMS and allow it to receive charge. For more information on how to reset a flat lithium battery, click here.
