Voyager Power System – Quick Start User Guide

This article is intended to be used as a "Quick Start User Guide". In conjunction with the product manuals for all installed components:

System Includes:

• 3000W/100A Inverter-Charger
• 40A+ DC2DC Charger
• Simarine Battery Monitor
• Pre-wired fuse block, rocker switches, sockets, and more

Optional Item not fitted as standard

• Garmin Power Switch - Digital Switching (This item is non-standard)

🔋 1. House Battery Setup

• Use >95mm² cable from the house battery.
• Fuse the positive cable with a 300A fuse close to the battery.
• Connect:
  • Positive → common terminal on circuit breaker block.
  • Negative → battery side of SC303 shunt.

☀️ 2. Solar Input

• Use appropriately sized, fused cabling.
• Connect to DC2DC charger solar input terminals.
• Refer to DC2DC40-User-Manual_V1.2 for details.

🚗 3. Vehicle Start Battery Input

• Use ≥16mm² cable (or 6 B&S / 6 AWG).
• Connect:
  • Positive → DC2DC vehicle input terminal.
  • Negative → system side of main shunt.

Smart Alternator Vehicles:

• Negative → chassis side of sense module.
• Run ignition sense cable to DC2DC ignition terminal (12V ON / 0V OFF).

⚡ 4. Inverter/Charger Setup

• Comes with 230V AC mains input lead:
  • IEC C19 plug (inverter end)
  • CMS plug (mains end)

Options:

1. Use CMS extension cables + CMS input socket.
2. Replace cable with IEC C19 to 3-pin plug:
   • Must be 15A rated, or
   • Use 10A plug and set Function F15 = 10A.

Function Settings (via Inverter Manual):

• F01: ATO (Auto Transfer)
• F02: OFF
• F03: 11.6V
• F04: 11.8V
• F08: Li (Lithium)
• F10: 14.2V
• F15: 15A or 10A (based on plug)

📊 5. Simarine Battery Monitor Setup

• Uninstall old app, install latest from app store.
• Go to Settings > Devices > Batteries:
  • Set C20 capacity (e.g., 200Ah → enter 200).
  • For non-Lithium: enter C10/C5 values from battery supplier.
  • Set chemistry type.
  • For further operating instructions, User Manual

🔌 6. Accessories

• Use 4mm² cable, max 15A per circuit.
• Fuse each accessory appropriately.
• Connect:
  • Positive → fuse block lug.
  • Negative → common negative bus bar.

🧊 7. Fridge Wiring

• Wire via fuse block.
• Max 15A.

🛠️ 8. Physical Mounting

• Refer to wiring diagram and mounting illustrations.
• Available orientations: Left, Right, Top (Ceiling).

📱 9. Garmin Power Switch (Digital Control)*

Where you have the Garmin Power Switch Installed in your Voyager System:

• Use Garmin app to:
  • Pair device
  • Customize switch layouts
  • Set routines (e.g., auto-on at ignition or sunset)
  • For further operating instructions, User Manual
