Enerdrive B-TEC and e-LITE Lithium Batteries are capable of delivering very high discharge currents due to their high quality Battery Management Systems (BMS) and prismatic Lithium cells. The maximum discharge ratings for Enerdrive batteries are as follows:
Battery Type | Maximum Discharge Current @ 25 ̊C ±5 ̊C for 30 mins |
EPL-100-12VLITE | 100A @12V |
EPL-100BT-12V-SLIM | 100A @ 12V |
EPL-125BT-12V-G2 | 100A @ 12V |
EPL-200BT-12V-G2 | 200A @ 12V |
EPL-300BT-12V-G2 | 250A @ 12V |
EPL-100BT-24V | 100A @ 24V |
EPL-150BT-24V-G2 | 150A @ 24V |
EPL-100BT-36V | 100A @ 36V |
Paralleling Batteries
It is important to note that paralleling B-TEC and eLITE batteries does not increase maximum discharge current ratings. The maximum discharge current ratings for a single battery should still be followed regardless of how many batteries are in parallel. For example, a two 125Ah B-TEC batteries still have a maximum discharge current of a 100A.
More information on paralleling B-TEC/eLITE batteries can be found here.
Cable Sizing
Discharging B-TEC and eLITE batteries at their maximum current rating also requires the use of appropriate size cable.
More information regarding the necessary size of cable can be found here.
